The lock mechanism is very good. The expansion feature is of no value unless you wall thickness(stud depth) is more than 5 inches. Do not buy this safe if you have 2x4 studs as the adjustment feature is too cumbersome to assemble & install.

Product a little more complicated than necessary. The three sections with all the different size bolts rather confusing. The code wording with 'A' and 'B' not too clear. The program button inside was a different color than the instructions. Other than that product is sturdy and well-constructed. Nice professional appearance!

I've built my own wall safes before but they are clumsy and hard to conceal. I thought it was time to get a good one for a 6' stud wall. This one looked like just what I needed. I like to overkill everything I do so I bought heavier lag screws (not needed). The adjustable depth worked perfect for what I needed. It seems a little sloppy but once it's all bolted together and mounted it works great. If you seal all the sliding parts after the installation it makes a very sturdy and tight safe. All that protrudes from the wall is about 1/16' of the flange. Very easy to hide. I like to take my time and do things right so it took me over a half a day to install but I'm happy with the result. The lock is very smooth and locks up tight like it should.

Delivery was quick but there was no way to track it. The thing just showed up one day about two weeks after I ordered it.

Seems to be a well designed safe but the face frame was very poorly welded and was out of shape (warped) by over an eighth of an inch. Had to do a lot of work to make it flush with the wall.

Did not consult with service. Hope they read this review and get back to me.

well built and easy to install. only thing it would be nice if door was able to to be reversed to open the other direction much like a refrigerator door so that you could choose what side to open from.

Didn't need service. I'm very handy. You need to know what your doing to install.

My only real complaint;
the electronic beeping when you press the combo buttons should be able to be disabled Who wants the criminal breaking in to hear me opening the safe to get my gun?

Service was not an issue.

I followed a hint from a previous customer and added a 2x4 beneath the safe. Trying to mount in 6' wall discovered that I could not get the fasteners on the hinge side. Reassembled safe reversing the middle section and all was fine.

Customer service was GREAT! I was unable to determine the allen screw size to remove the door - not in instructions. Rep found that they are 2.5mm (not SAE).
Use the reverse middle section to avoid removing door.

I looked at a lot of safes on line and was concerned about the cost and shipping fees and the practicality of fitting items inside. This one is perfect! And I love having a key as a back up. My main use is for jewelry and cash and a few documents.

Perfect fit...but lousy instructions. Nice finish so it looks good (even though it's hidden). Works like it should. Worth every penny. Not very deep in 4' studs...wish they were 6'.

We like the safe because of easy electronic opening. Howeverthe inside of the door takes up a lot of space when closed making it difficult to store some items.

My guess is that wall safes are generally installed in spaces that have inadequate light. Print the instructions in bolder and larger print. Also the drawings weren't clear. I got it done and it does the job. Quality is there.

This safe is well built and was easy to install and was a good investment. I am very happy with it.

We had a small problem with the safe when it arrived but the customer support could not have been better and our issue was resolved completely and promptly.

This is the second one I've purchased as I install them for customers as part of Closet remodels. The product is solid well built and installs fairly easy with basic tools. A strong drill is a must as well as a reciprocating drywall saw.

The Unit arrived before the promised delivery date and I have not needed service as it has not had any problems

Realizing it has to be adjustable to fit in depth to standard wall the adjustable components should be more air tight and insect proof.

I installed it myself and shrouded it with a fireproof material to give the contents more protection. I also caulked all interior gaps in the adjustable shelves.

Easy install does exactly what it is supposed to do very well; easy operation and the right price. I am very pleased with this safe.
